Quality control protocols include stringent inspection and testing, along with continuing analysis of the manufacturing process which seeks improved efficiency. The lean approach allows us to be confident that we are better today than we were yesterday.

We believe that not only do we serve our customers, but essentially they are in charge. We supply them with the best value possible or we do not earn their business. We are always fully prepared to produce what a customer desires—but on demand, not stockpiled—therefore avoiding waste. We keep our production moving ahead at just the right flow, cutting down on wasted lead time while still ensuring that our customer receives products with ample time for use. We truly embrace the principle of pull — our production is based on what our customers want when they need it, not what we prefer to push into the market.

O’Keefe Controls Receives 2023 ISO 9001:2015 Registration Recertification

O’Keefe Controls has received its ISO 9001:2015 registration recertification in October 2023, after an independent audit of our Quality Management System (QMS) was conducted by accredited ISO registrar, American Systems Registrar. Our initial ISO 9001:2015 registration was received in October 2017; it is required that recertification be done every three years to ensure quality standards are maintained.

With our ISO registration, O’Keefe Controls Co. continues as part of an elite group of companies in 170 countries worldwide that adhere to established criteria defining a Quality Management System. The ISO 9001:2015 registration is a well-earned validation of the focus on quality at O’Keefe Controls Co.

As a lean enterprise, continuous improvement is paramount in our business philosophy. This is characterized by a systematic approach to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction. Passing our ISO recertification audit is testimony to our dedication to quality in all aspects of what we do. 

ISO 9001:2015 is the most updated version of the standard. With its focus on a quality management system’s structure and performance, gaining compliance assists companies in developing a robust QMS that aligns quality with a wider business strategy. The current version of the standard emphasizes risk-based thinking and accountability in all organizational processes in order to improve effective communications and to facilitate continuous improvement founded.
